Heaviness and Lightness, Stillness and Haste

Schwere und Leichtigkeit, Stille und Hast

26 - Calmness

Heavy serves as root of the light, calm as mas-tery of the restless.

 01-02

So wise men walk all day, not leaving their bag-gage's heaviness.
 Although having brilliant
prospects, they stay composed, thus transcending them.

 03-06

How could the ruler of myriads chariots, due to selfishness, take lightly all world?
 Lightness lets lose roots,
restless lets lose sove-reignty.

 07-10

26 - Gelassenheit

 Leichtfertig verliert man
die Wurzeln, hastig die Herrschaft
.
